Created from the Project Northland and through the partnership of the healthy communities of the Split City and New Jersey, the project BUBA (Croatian acronym for Clear Mind Without Alcohol, meaning also a “beetle”) is an example of an exceptional and motivating international cooperation.
The results of this outstanding and successful children and youth alcoholism prevention program have been published in international science magazines and the action has been nominated for an American National Prize for the best cooperation between a college campus and a local community.
